Entrepreneur’s digital skills and its measurement: a theoretical review

Abstract

Among the relevant problems of entrepreneurship development in Russia, the issues of sufficiency of competencies and skills of an entrepreneur to work in the new information and communication environment come to the forefront. The article reveals the concept of “digital skills of an entrepreneur” and considers ways to measure them. It emphasizes the importance of digital skills training for entrepre-neurs, which will contribute to their further success and increase their competitiveness. Based on the terminological analysis, the definition of digital skills of an entrepreneur is clarified and their classifi-cation is proposed. Methodological approaches to the measurement of digital skills are identified, and the use of the Rasch model is proposed for a more valid assessment of digital skills.
